With kids heading back to school, we decided to make something useful for them: a framed locker mirror.
The file includes all shapes you’ll need to cut for the frame: two circular frames, flowers, text and decorative accessories. You may need to adjust the size and number of graphics depending on the length of the name and size of the mirror you are engraving.
我们使用了具有以下设置35 25 % 速度、 80 % 功率、 5000频率。
To get the full effect of the frame, we encourage varying colors for each layer. For example, our outer frame is green, while the inner is maroon. The daisies are yellow, while the letters/dots are the same maroon from the inside frame.
Select the portion you want to cut first. Set the horizontal and vertical lengths to correspond to the dimensions of your sheet of laserable plastic. Note: prior to printing, make sure to adhere double sided tape to the back of your laserable plastic. This will make assembling the layers a much easier task.
Set your power and speed settings based on the wattage of your Epilog system. Results will vary slightly depending on the thickness of your laserable plastic.
Then send the file to the laser, making sure to choose “selection” in the print menu so you do not print all pieces on the same color of laserable plastic Now press GO!
When all pieces have been cut, you can then assemble them to the mirror and each other. We left the double sided tape on each piece until we knew exactly where to place it.
